The Sober Place endeavors to fill a need for social interaction, community support, empathy and accountability for people who are newly living in recovery from addiction. Members could be individuals who recently completed residential treatment, are currently engaged in outpatient treatment or those who have found recovery on their own. The Sober Place supports all paths to recovery and strives to be a resource for individuals and families who are seeking to break the cycle of addiction.
Our focus is helping individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. Exponentially increase Recovery Capital for persons in recovery from addiction in Clark County, WA.

Completed her bachelor’s degree in Human Development in 2013 from Warner Pacific. This degree was chosen because she has always wondered how people’s minds worked and pondered life if she were to “walk in their shoes”. This led her to desire helping people through life choices, struggles, and reclaiming lost parts of themselves. Felicia is a counselor with a Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Multnomah University. Felicia has a person-centered approach looking at life in an Existential point of view and desires to work with clients towards feeling authentic, secure and confident.
A licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) in Washington state. Karen earned her master’s degree in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University in September 2018. Karen came to the field of addiction through family experience, realizing a strong desire to help people suffering from addiction, and their loved ones, find hope in long-term recovery. Prior to her career in addiction counseling, Karen worked as a senior finance manager for The Boeing Company and holds an MBA from Keller University.
Born and raised in Mesa, AZ. He attended Westwood High School in Mesa where he was the recipient of an International Baccalaureate diploma. He attended Saint Louis University where he studied biology and philosophy and graduated with a BS in Biology in 2013. He has a background in medicine, public health, and substance abuse treatment, working as a scribe, lab associate, and case manager over the past 10 years. He is in long-term recovery from opiates and has first-hand knowledge of the consequences of this nation’s opioid crisis on young people, their families, and communities as a whole.
a Veteran of Viet Nam and has over 30 years of experience with hosting national events and marketing. John is responsible for starting The Subaru Rally Circuit and developing several car dealerships across the North West. John has trained and supervised hundreds of team members in the auto industry. John has an infinity for survival training, cooking, and general hospitality. John has two sons and a loving wife who all live in the Battle Ground, WA area.
